An East Texas district battle commences Friday night in Marshall.
The home team Mavericks welcome in the Tigers from Texarkana's Texas High, with the winner in prime position to take the 7-5A Division II district championship.
Texas High enters Friday's game at 5-1 overall and 2-0 in district play, as the Tigers are riding a three-game winning streak. Marshall enters at 4-1 overall and 1-0 in district, and the Mavericks are also on a current three-game winning streak.
