Two 2-0 teams face off in a Thursday night contest in Missouri City, Texas.

Cypress Bridgeland hits the road to Fort Bend Ridge Point, with the winner moving to 3-0. It is a game that will be televised on the NFHS Network.

Bridgeland (2-0) posted a pair of double-digit victories to start its season, with the Bears defeating Dawson, 35-20, and then downing Katy Tompkins, 42-14. Both of those games were home contests.

Likewise, Ridge Point (2-0) has looked impressive through its first two ballgames. The Panthers prevailed, 62-23, in the opener against Clear Springs and then posted a 34-10 win last week at Fulshear.

POSTGAME

- Fort Bend Ridge Point moves to 3-0 on the season with a dominant win, as the Panthers led from start to finish. Cypress Bridgeland drops to 2-1.

FOURTH QUARTER

- TOUCHDOWN RIDGE POINT. Panthers get another fourth-quarter score as Romin Seymour finds John Rangel for a 29-yard TD. (Ridge Point 31-3 | 2:02, 4th) 

- Bridgeland forced to punt, and Ridge Point has the ball with almost seven minutes left. 

- TOUCHDOWN RIDGE POINT. And the Panthers cash in on the pick as DJ Darling catches a short pass, makes a nifty move to turn the corner and goes in for the 20-yard score. Panthers on the verge of going to 3-0. (Ridge Point, 24-3 | 9:26, 4th) 

- INTERCEPTION RIDGE POINT. Panthers get a huge takeaway on the very next play, as  Jordan Mitchell picks off a pass, and Ridge Point has the ball at the Bridgeland 20. 

- Bridgeland forces a punt, and the Bears get the ball back with 9:50 left. 

- For the second time tonight, a Kash Schwab touchdown run for Bridgeland is called back for holding, and still on fourth down, a Bears' pass attempt falls incomplete. Ridge Point holds, and keeps its 14-point lead early in the final period. 

- Bridgeland faces a fourth-and-short at the Ridge Point 7.

THIRD QUARTER

- Bridgeland has the ball inside the Ridge Point 20 as the third quarter comes to an end.

- Bridgeland gets the ball back and has the ball just past midfield late in the third.

- Bridgeland can't connect on a third-down pass and will have to punt.

- Ridge Point marched down near the Bridgeland 30 but turned it over on downs. Bears with the ball for the first time this half. 

- Ridge Point takes the ball to start the second half. 

HALFTIME

- Ridge Point was dominant for most of the first half, but Bridgeland got a field goal right before halftime. Can the Bears carry that momentum over into the second half?

SECOND QUARTER

- FIELD GOAL BRIDGELAND. Bears finally get on the scoreboard on the final play of the first half as Grayson Geisler connects from 35 yards out. (Ridge Point, 17-3 | :00, 2nd) 

- Bridgeland breaks off a long run down to the Ridge Point 25. Bears have a chance before halftime. 

- TOUCHDOWN RIDGE POINT. Panthers score again with 31 seconds left in the first half as Aiden Akins goes airborne into the end zone to finish off the score. (Ridge Point, 17-0 | :31, 2nd) 

- Ridge Point converts on fourth down as DJ Darling catches a 20-yard pass down to the 7. First-and-goal for the Panthers. 

- Ridge Point inside the Bridgeland 30 as we hit the two-minute warning. 

- A Bridgeland TD was wiped out due to a penalty. Bears then face a fourth down near the Ridge Point 30, but the Panthers swarm on a running play. Ridge Point takes over. 

- FIELD GOAL RIDGE POINT. Drive stalls at the 6, but Nolan Revere comes on to boot a successful 24-yard kick, and the Panthers are now up by two scores. (Ridge Point 10-0 | 10:15, 2nd) 

- Ridge Point converts on fourth down and has the ball near the 5.

- Ridge Point faces a fourth-and-short near the Bridgeland 10 as the second quarter gets under way.

FIRST QUARTER

- TOUCHDOWN RIDGE POINT. Panthers on the board after completing a 57-yard drive as receiver DJ Darling catches a 15-yard pass in the end zone. (Ridge Point, 7-0 | 3:56, 1st) 

- Ridge Point making something happen, as WR Bailen George comes down with a big-play catch down to the Bridgeland 10, setting up a first-and-goal.

- Both teams have punted on its opening series. We're about four minutes into the game.

- Bridgeland wins the toss and elects to receive. Bears on offense to start things off.
