Cypress Bridgeland travels to Fort Bend County to take on Fort Bend Ridge Point in a game that will be shown on the NFHS Network.

Bridgeland has easily won both of its first two ballgames, downing Dawson 35-20 in the opener and then posting a 42-14 win last week against Katy Tompkins. Both games were at home.

In the win against Tompkins, quarterback Tyler Begeal threw a couple of touchdown passes, and running back Kash Schwab found the end zone three times. The Bears even returned an interception for another TD.

Ridge Point is also 2-0 after two strong wins, 62-23 in the opener against Clear Springs and 34-10 last week on the road at Fulshear.

Against Fulshear, quarterback Brody Bartee threw for 146 yards and two TDs, and receiver Bailen George caught eight passes for 132 yards and a TD. Senior tailback Aiden Akins ran for 91 yards and two TDs as well for the Panthers.
