Week 1 in Louisiana high school football featured several key performances on offense and defense.

Here’s a look at those top individual performances from Week 1.

Chantz Babineaux, Carencro: Babineaux, a Nicholls State commit, had two interceptions against St. Thomas More in a 30-27 win.

Justin Batiste, Catholic-Baton Rouge: The Bears’ running back scored four touchdowns in their 32-23 win over Destrehan.

Jacobi Boudreaux, John Curtis: In the Patriots’ trip to California, Boudreaux rushed for 218 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries. John Curtis defeated Cathedral, 54-26.

Aiden Brooks, St. Paul’s: Brooks made five tackles and intercepted a pair of passes as the Wolves beat Live Oak, 48-13.

Montrell Conner, Ouachita Parish: The dual-threat quarterback accounted for 249 yards and five touchdowns in the Lions’ 37-19 win against Captain Shreve.

Malachi Dabney, Destrehan: Dabney rushed for 219 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries in the Wildcats’ 32-23 loss to Catholic-Baton Rouge.

Trez Davis, West Monroe: Davis caught five passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns as the Rebels defeated Huntington, 41-18.

Greyson Dupre, Archbishop Hannan: Dupre’s 17 tackles were huge in a 14-13 win over Northlake Christian.

Javaughn Fairley, DeRidder: Fairley rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Dragons to a 42-13 win over South Beauregard. Fairley added an 82-yard kick return touchdown for his fourth touchdown and intercepted two passes.

Zaiden Foster, Liberty: Foster rushed for 325 yards and four touchdowns on 37 carries in the Patriots’ 41-28 win over Southern Lab.

Ben Hendricks, Mandeville: Hendricks had 311 total yards and three touchdowns as the Skippers defeated Salmen, 38-25. 200 of Hendricks’ yards came on the ground.

Ethan Heney, Vandebilt Catholic: Heney led the Terriers to a 55-12 win over Central Lafourche with 267 total yards and four touchdowns.

David Hickman, Sterlington: Hickman rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns on only 10 carries to lead Sterlington to a 47-31 comeback win against Tioga.

Braylon Hughlon, Calvary: Hughlon only needed five touches for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-7 win over Oak Grove.

Rylan James, Loranger: James went for 200 yards and four touchdowns as the Wolves took down Independence, 47-19.

Kervin Johnson, Tioga: Johnson caught seven passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-31 loss to Sterlington.

Delario Jones Jr., Homer: Jones threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns on 19-for-28 aim as the Pelicans beat Haughton 36-34.

Makelin Lemoine, Elton: The junior running back had 292 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns in a 58-28 loss to St. Edmund.

Jerzyion Levingston, Homer: Levingston led the Class 2A Pelicans to a 36-34 win over Class 5A Haughton after catching nine passes for 162 yards and a touchdown.

Darius Mack, Madison Prep: Mack recorded four sacks in a 48-41 win against Dutchtown/

Ethan Mandigo, Evangel: Mandigo recorded 10 tackles and four sacks in the Eagles’ 33-32 loss to Neville.

Kelmarion Phillips, Pineville: Phillips caught seven passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns in Pineville’s 44-34 win over New Iberia.

Dalen Powell, Ruston: Powell rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries in a 49-7 victory over Acadiana. Powell added an 89-yard kick return touchdown.

Keyon Robinson, Madison Prep: Robinson’s five catches for 161 yards and three touchdowns sparked the Chargers as they defeated Dutchtown, 48-41.

Karsen Sellers, Alexandria: Sellers completed 10 of 17 passes for 236 yards and four touchdowns in the Trojans’ 54-7 victory against West Feliciana.

Trevin Simon, Ascension Catholic: Simon’s 275 rushing yards and four touchdowns propelled the Bulldogs to a 45-40 win over Class 5A’s H.L. Bourgeois.

Carter Smith, Pineville: Smith went 13-for-15 for 267 yards and four touchdowns as the Rebels defeated New Iberia, 44-34.

Ke’Rynn Smith, Holy Cross: Smith rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 27-26 win against E.D. White.

Owen Smith, Natchitoches Central: Smith completed 11 of 20 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs 41-0 win over Breaux Bridge.

Devion Stewart, Booker T. Washington (Shreveport): Stewart was nearly flawless in a 56-0 win against Lakeview. Stewart completed 10 of 14 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns.

Aymaud Sykes, Grant: Sykes ran wild for 420 yards and 10 touchdowns on 25 carries in the Cougars’ 76-50 win over Montgomery.

Owen Trosclair, Covenant Christian: Trosclair accounted for 451 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lions to a 28-14 win over Thomas Jefferson. Trosclair passed for 240 yards and ran for 211 more.

Jake Vaughan, Menard: The Eagle quarterback led his team with 284 total yards and four total touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Northwood. Vaughan went 17-for-24 with 226 yards and two touchdowns passing.

Braylon Walker, Lafayette Christian: One of the top quarterbacks in the state, Walker had 322 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-26 win against Archbishop Rummel.

Sedrick Wilson, Jena: Wilson rushed for 325 yards and four touchdowns in the Giants’ 64-48 win against Mangham. Wilson also added a 52-yard touchdown reception for his fifth touchdown of the game.

Thorne Stripling, D’Arbonne Woods: The Timberwolf iron man rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns, while recording seven tackles in a 37-24 victory against Lincoln Prep.

Jakias Villanueva, St. James: Villanueva caught 10 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns as the Wildcats defeated East St. John, 49-12.

Marques Zenon, Mandeville: Zenon recorded 13 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble as the Skippers defeated Salmen, 38-25.
