Chelsea are already setting out their plans for the January transfer window after a big spending summer.
Enzo Maresca paid out £285m on new faces as Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho all arrived at Stamford Bridge.
The club were keen to ensure Maresca's incomings were balanced against sales with a mammoth £288m raised in offloads including Noni Madueke, Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku all moving on.
A slight uptick in the sales column meant an overall positive net spend of £3m+ and more exits are planned in the mid-season market.
Despite Maresca raising concerns over his defensive depth following injuries to Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana, the club will not sanction moves for major new signings in that area.
In fact, there are no plans in place for significant incoming January business, with Maresca impressed with the overall level of his squad so far this season.

Amongst a growing list of possible departures is academy product Tyrique George after the England U19 international has slipped down the pecking order.
Maresca eased the 19-year-old into the first team last season, with 13 appearances on route to the Blues winning the UEFA Conference League, and nine in the Premier League.
Chelsea plan January sales to hit PSR target
However, the teenager has not started a league or European game n 2025/26, and the club are now considering their options on him.

With a contract until 2027, plus a 12-month extension option, Chelsea are protected against a free transfer exit with George valued at around £10m.
As per Football Insider, a sale is being prioritised by the club hierarchy, as George's status as ex-academy means his departure will be classed as 'pure profit' in Chelsea's financial reports, which boosts their aim of staying inside Profit and Sustainability Rules [PSR].
Neighbours Crystal Palace and Fulham are rumoured to be interested in an offer, after reaching out with loan proposals in the summer, but the player will need convincing on an exit.
