The Minnesota Timberwolves are a part of the Kevin Durant trade.
Of course, it's not overly exciting for Wolves fans. KD is going from the Rockets to the Suns.
But the Timberwolves tacked themselves on to the 7-team deal that also includes the Warriors, Lakers, Nets and Hawks.
Minnesota's role was revealed by Marc Stein in a new report out Thursday night.
The Timberwolves receive: Draft rights to Rocco Zikarsky (from LAL), 2026 2nd-round pick (from PHX), 2032 2nd-round pick (form PHX), cash considerations (from LAL) and traded player exception for Nickeill Alexander-Walker.
They only give up the draft rights to Rasheer Fleming, the No. 31 pick, with him going to Phoenix.

None of this is news on its own. These deals had already been reported individually.
But during the league's moratorium before anything could become official, these teams banded together to most efficiently move around players, picks and salary.
The Timberwolves can now say they were a part of the biggest trade in NBA history.
