Believe it or not, there's one area of the NBA where there's just no money available.
Restricted free agents aren't getting offered much of anything.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst laid out the case on Tuesday on ESPN:
"If this isn't the worst market for restricted free agents in the last generation, I don't want to see it," Windhorst said. "There's just no money out there."

There are three particularly notable RFAs out there.
The Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga is one after a late-season filled with departure rumors. The Bulls' Josh Giddey is another after his first season in Chicago. And the 76ers' Quentin Grimes joins the party at a great time after putting up huge numbers down the stretch for Philadelphia.
Windhorst goes on to speak about Kuminga specifically, saying that he should rejoin the Warriors and then rethink his move later.

All three of Kuminga, Giddey and Grimes might end up back on their current teams for now before potential trades down the road if those decisions don't work out.
Usually, restricted free agents are given a huge offer sheet by another team, sometimes so big that the original team doesn't match it.
That just isn't happening right now, though.
