A basketball legend is heading to Disney.

Well, kind of.

God Shammgod is the new assistant coach of the Orlando Magic, per ESPN's Shams Charania. He was previously a player development coach with the Dallas Mavericks.

Shammgod is a legend of New York City who made famous a fancy crossover dribble move known by his name.

He played at La Salle Academy in Manhattan with Ron Artest and Karim Shabazz.

Shammgod was a McDonald's All-American selection and scored nine points in that game.

He was also an AAU teammate of Kobe Bryant.

Shammgod went to Providence College and averaged 10.3 points per game.

He was a second-round pick of the Washington Wizards, but he only played 20 games in the NBA.

He spent time playing professionally in China, Poland and Saudi Arabia.

He has since coached at Providence and with the Mavs before this hire.

Shammgod is 49 years old and was previously known as Shammgod Wells.
