Blue Jays vs. Mariners series just reached a major pivot point image

The Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners have just made the ALCS very, very fun.

Through four games, it's tied 2-2.

Cue a mini best-of-three series for all the marbles as these teams compete to be the first to four wins in the series.

It's been a bit of an odd path to this point.

The Mariners won narrowly in Game 1, then big in Game 2.

In Games 3 and 4, the Blue Jays have been mostly in control.

It's what comes next which is the most potentially fun, though.

A swing Game 5 with things knotted at 2-apiece.

A Game 6 that will be a clincher possibility for one of the two teams.

And then, if us baseball fans are lucky, a Game 7 for a spot in the World Series.

The Mariners have never played in the World Series. The Blue Jays haven't made it that far in a generation.

This has the potential to be an incredibly meaningful outcome no matter who wins the ALCS.

It's just a sweet deal for baseball fans who want to see the highest drama and biggest stakes.

The Mariners and Blue Jays are about to give that to us. And for that reason, sports are so dang cool.
