It might be time for Manny to be Manny again.

The Boston Red Sox legend Manny Ramirez wants to return to Major League Baseball.

No, not as a player.

Ramirez wants to be a hitting coach.

This is what MLB insider Jon Heyman tweeted on Thursday:

"Manny Ramirez is getting word out to all 30 teams he’d love to serve as an MLB hitting coach. 'He wants to bring his greatness to teach the young guys,' his agent Hector Zepeda said."

Ramirez is legitimately one of the few greatest right-handed hitters in the history of baseball.

He finished his career with a .312 batting average, a .996 OPS and 555 home runs.

Ramirez was brilliant at the dish.

In some ways, he was a natural see ball, hit ball guy.

In other ways, he found methods to set up the opposing pitcher to punish them later on in games.

He was as smart as anyone to ever step into the box, with incredibly gifted hands.

He's certainly the type of guy who has lessons to pass on to other hitters.

Ramirez is also quirky and goofy, which could be seen as a pro or a con depending on the staff he was joining.

It'd be cool to see Manny back in baseball.
