The Denver Broncos and New York Jets will face off in the second NFL London game of the 2025 season next Sunday (October 12).

The match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is set to be an interesting affair as both teams will head into the meeting after experiencing very different outcomes in week five.

The Broncos will be full of confidence heading into the London showdown as they became the first team this season to beat the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, on Sunday (October 5).

Sean Payton's team managed to pull off an impressive comeback to claim a 21-17 victory on the road.

The Eagles looked to be well on their way to a fifth win in five as a 47-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to star running-back Saquon Barkley early in the third quarter put the team up 17-3.

However, the Broncos began a fourth-quarter charge as J.K. Dobbins ran in for a touchdown to cut the deficit. Bo Nix found Evan Engram in the endzone soon after, before then picking out Troy Franklin on the two-point attempt to give Payton's men a one point lead.

Unnecessary roughness from Eagles linebacker Zack Baun on an initial third-down stop later in the quarter led to the Broncos keeping alive a drive which resulted in a successful field goal attempt, extending the visiting team's lead to four points.

On the final play of the game, Hurts launched the ball into the endzone, hoping to find an Eagles receiver, however the Broncos defence came up big and prevented both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith from scoring a potential game-winning touchdown.

Jets suffer another loss under new head coach

The Jets will be very low on confidence ahead of their trip to London as their 37-22 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday means they are now the only winless team left in the NFL this season.

The final scoreline does not display how below-par Aaron Glenn's team were for most of the game at MetLife Stadium, as 16 of the teams points came in the final quarter after the Cowboys had established a three-score lead.

The Jets have now conceded 157 points in just five games, which is a major concern considering the hiring of Glenn as head coach in the off-season was meant to give the team a strong defensive platform.

Glenn was brought in after an impressive four-season stint as the Detroit Lions' defensive coordinator.

The 53-year-old will be hoping that a completely different change of environment in week six can earn him a first win in his Jets tenure.

The Jets have been unsuccessful in their previous two visits to London, losing to the Atlanta Falcons in 2021, before being beaten by the Minnesota Vikings last year.

Meanwhile, the Broncos won on their last trip to the English capital three years ago, when they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars.
