We have a few derby games taking place in the Premier League this weekend, following the international break and one is taking place at the London Stadium in the capital city.

Graham Potter had been under pressure as West Ham United boss, with the Irons beginning with hammerings at the hands of Sunderland and then Chelsea. However, they went into the break on the back of a much-needed 3-0 demolition of Nottingham Forest at the City Ground a couple of weeks ago.

Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur have put in some excellent performances this season, including a 2-0 defeat of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, but they backed that up by suffering a 1-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a couple of weeks ago.

The Sporting News has all the latest odds, tips and predictions for this clash at the London Stadium in London.

West Ham vs. Tottenham prediction

West Ham showed some spirit last time out but it was an anomalous result with three late goals. Spurs will fancy themselves to control a limited Hammers squad and it they will hope to get back on the winning track.

The Sporting News Score Prediction:

West Ham 0-1 Tottenham

West Ham vs. Tottenham lineups

West Ham vs. Tottenham team news

  • West Ham will likely be without Germany international Niclas Fullkrug and Callum Wilson will therefore be keen on starting after scoring a couple of weeks ago.
  • West Ham have been able to bring in the likes of Soungoutou Magassa and Igor Julio, too, so they could be involved to make their debuts this weekend.
  • Xavi Simons could well make the Tottenham debut for this one, with the Netherlands international attacking midfielder joining just before the deadline.
  • Spurs will, though, be without England international striker Dominic Solanke, who is now sidelined through injury for the visitors.

West Ham vs. Tottenham Bet Builder tips

Our bet builder for this one is for Tottenham to win (21/20) with under 3.5 goals (4/11), El Hadji Malick Diouf to be carded for the Hammers (5/2) and Richarlison to have a shot on target (3/10), which comes in at overall odds of 9.72/1 with Sky Bet.
