Manchester United and Manchester City look set to do a transfer swap of two Lionesses ahead of the transfer deadline on September 4.

United midfielder Grace Clinton is on the move to City, while midfielder Jess Park could be joining the Red Devils.

Both were part of the Sarina Wiegman's Euro 2025 Championship winning squad.

22-year-old Clinton has attracted the eyes of various clubs, but it seems that City will crack a deal before the 11pm deadline.

Clinton has just one year left on her contract, with no renewal in sight. It's reported that the red side of Manchester triggered a clause to extend her contract but Clinton didn't seem keen to sign.

United have said they didn't want to risk keeping Clinton until the end of the season and losing her on a free transfer.

Meanwhile Park has also entered the final year of her contract and is set for a medical with United.

It seems like the deals between the rivals work perfectly as Clinton and Park can act as replacements for each other.
