The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received some positive injury news on rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka on Friday.
Egbuka was added to the injury report this week for the first time this season with hip and groin issues and did not take part in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
However, according to Rick Stroud of The Tampa Bay Times, Egbuka was able to return to practice on Friday.
Emeka Egbuka injury update
"Good news for Bucs. WR Emeka Egbuka is practicing today. WR Chris Godwin and T Tristan Wirfs also are working but not expected to play," Stroud reported.

It remains unclear if Egbuka will be considered a limited or full participant on Friday, but we'll get that answer soon enough when the Bucs release their final injury report of the week later in the day.
Nevertheless, this is a good sign that Egbuka has a chance to play. If he's limited, the rookie will likely draw a questionable tag, which means we may not know for sure if he plays until right before kickoff when inactives are released.
Egbuka is off to a strong start to his career.
The 2025 first-round pick has eight catches for 96 yards and three touchdowns over his first two NFL games and is quickly becoming a trusted target for quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Egbuka's hot start will no doubt help him make a case to still be heavily involved even after Chris Godwin eventually makes his return to the field, which doesn't appear to be likely to happen this week.
