Should I drop these fantasy busts? Outlooks for Jerry Jeudy, Stefon Diggs, Calvin Ridley and RJ Harvey image

Three weeks of the NFL season starts to feel like just a large enough sample size to make some difficult fantasy football drop decisions.

Especially if you've gotten off to a 1-2 or 0-3 start, there isn't a ton of time to turn things around. And you may very well have one of those records if you've been counting on the likes of Jerry Jeudy, Stefon Diggs, Calvin Ridley and RJ Harvey.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer on who you should or shouldn't keep on your roster, but here's a quick breakdown of the outlook going forward for those four skill position players.

Should I drop Jerry Jeudy in fantasy?

You should hold Jerry Jeudy in fantasy football unless you're absolutely loaded at wide receiver.

Jeudy remains the No. 1 WR in Cleveland, and he has averaged 7.0 targets per game, a decent number.

The Browns should usually trail, and either Joe Flacco or Dillon Gabriel is just good enough to get Jeudy some production even if it's in garbage time.

He had a rough Week 3 (1 catch, 17 yards), but he had gone 5-66 and 4-51 in the first two weeks. Jeudy will still have a solid season.

Should I drop Stefon Diggs in fantasy?

You should hold Stefon Diggs in fantasy football.

Diggs is still recovering from his torn ACL from last season but has slowly ramped up this season.

He's averaging 5.0 targets per game, which isn't great. But it's unlikely there's a clearly better option on the waiver wire.

Diggs' six catches and 57 yards in Week 1 is a solid enough line in PPR leagues. If Drake Maye will start looking toward Diggs in the red zone, that would help.

Should I drop Calvin Ridley in fantasy?

You should probably hold Calvin Ridley in fantasy football.

Ridley has averaged 7.0 targets per week through three weeks. The problem is the production hasn't followed (4-27, 3-57, 1-27) as he and Cam Ward haven't been able to connect.

The emergence of WR Elic Ayomanor is also a bit concerning for Ridley's overall value. But he's getting enough looks still that just outright dropping him feels a bit rash.

Should I drop RJ Harvey in fantasy?

RJ Harvey is someone you should continue to stash on your bench in fantasy football unless you have a dire need and no one else to get rid of.

He's averaged 30.1% of offensive snaps played so far for the Broncos. J.K. Dobbins is definitely ahead of him in the pecking order.

But Harvey has averaged 6.2 yards per carry and also made five catches in his limited action. It's worth holding onto him at a RB position that is still rather thin.
