Finally, some good Brock Bowers news.

It just might not be the Bowers news that Las Vegas Raiders fans and his fantasy football managers are actually hoping for.

Bowers returned to practice on Friday. It was the first time he had done any practicing in more than two weeks.

The Raiders listed Bowers as limited on the official injury report.

Is Brock Bowers playing Week 7?

Brock Bowers is officially listed as doubtful for Week 7.

Despite his return to practice, it may have been too little, too late for this week.

This is what Raiders coach Pete Carroll told reporters:

"Brock got his first workout here in a while. His workouts have been great during the week. I watched him when he was working with the trainers, and he’s really doing good. So, we’re really close on him.”

The Raiders take on the Chiefs on Sunday, a tough matchup made tougher if Bowers remains out.

Then Vegas is on a bye in Week 8. So it'd be logical from a health standpoint to keep Bowers out this week so he gets the bye to rest, too, and can return full throttle in Week 9.

In the meantime, Michael Mayer looks set to remain the TE1 for Vegas as they try to pull an upset against Kansas City.
