Jaguars reveal new Travis Hunter offensive plans for Week 7 vs. Rams image

It's time for London to get its first look at Travis Hunter.

And it might be just on time. The Jacksonville Jaguars are updating their plans for Hunter.

According to ESPN's Michael DiRocco, Hunter should get a bigger role in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams across the pond.

"Expect the Jaguars to try and make WR/CB Travis Hunter a bigger part of the offense," DiRocco writes. "Coach Liam Coen said Wednesday that they need to call more plays where Hunter is the primary option because they don't feel as if they've taken advantage of his playmaking ability enough. There have been various reasons he hasn't been involved more. Some examples include when Trevor Lawrence has opted to go somewhere else with the ball, Hunter was covered or the playcall didn't match the defense they got after the snap. But with WR Brian Thomas Jr. struggling and TE Brenton Strange on injured reserve, Hunter's involvement has to increase."

Hunter's season-high in targets came in Week 1, when he had eight passes thrown his way and caught six for 33 yards.

His lines since have been 3-22 (6 targets), 1-21 (2 targets), 3-42 (5 targets), 3-64 (3 targets) and 4-15 (7 targets).

Hunter has yet to get into the end zone.

The Jaguars have also yet to give Hunter a carry, which while not a big deal also feels like a slight lack of wanting to get the ball into one of their best playmaker's hands.

Aside from a long, leaping catch in the upset win of the Chiefs, Hunter hasn't really gotten the chance to do much of anything down the field.

The Rams will a tough test for Jacksonville, which is 4-2 after losing to the Seahawks in Week 6 and wants to bounce back and stay at a good pace.

If Hunter can actually get the football more, it'll probably be a boost to the Jags' chances of picking up another win.
