Patriots can make franchise history not seen since 1961 with massive Drake Maye prediction image

The New England Patriots are living right.

They've got their franchise quarterback on the rise, with Drake Maye playing out of his mind and proving just how good he can be. And they're actually in first place in the AFC East with a tiebreaker on top of their 4-2 record.

In Week 7, they'll have the chance to make some franchise history.

The Pats are in Tennessee to play the Titans, and they've already won on the road in back to back weeks.

If the Patriots win this week, it'll be the first time they win three consecutive weeks on the road in the regular season since 1961, according to ESPN.

And to be clear, this is about the three weeks back-to-back-to-back. The Patriots won in Buffalo in Week 5, in New Orleans in Week 6 and now go to Nashville.

Of course, New England has had a longer streak of winning road games, including in an undefeated regular season under Tom Brady. But that team never had to play three of those road games in consecutive weeks like this.

ESPN's Seth Walder goes on to predict that Maye will have a huge day to get it done, writing:

"Patriots QB Drake Maye will throw four touchdown passes. New England is one of the heavier pass teams in the league, with a plus-3% pass rate over expectation that ranks fourth highest. Meanwhile, the Titans have the fourth-highest pass rate over expectation allowed (plus-1%). On top of that, don't you think (Mike) Vrabel is going to want to pour it on against his old team?"

There's a very good chance the good times keep rolling for the Pats.
