The Kansas City Chiefs have a major problem at the wide receiver position early on this season and a veteran free agent is offering to help out.

The Chiefs were already without Rashee Rice, who is suspended, and rookie Jalen Royals, who was ruled out for Week 1 due to a knee injury.

Then, Xavier Worthy was injured on the very first series of the game against the Los Angeles Chargers and has been ruled out with a shoulder injury.

In the wake of Worthy's injury, free-agent wide receiver Allen Robinson took to X to remind the Chiefs he's available and ready to help.

"No (cap), Chiefs I'm a free agent, I swear I could help y'all," he wrote.

A former second-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014, Robinson was once on a star trajectory before his career hit a wall in 2021.

Robinson posted lackluster numbers from that year through 2024 and hasn't signed with a team in 2025. In 2024, Robinson played in 12 games with the Detroit Lions and tallied just three catches for 30 yards.

It is quite apparent Robinson's best days are behind him. Back in March, Robinson told the Detroit Free Press that he was pondering retirement.

But an opportunity to play for the Chiefs and maybe win a Super Bowl might tempt him to reconsider that.
