The Green Bay Packers had a new addition to the injury report this week after running back Josh Jacobs was listed on it on Wednesday.
Jacobs is dealing with an ankle issue and was listed as limited on the injury report to start the week, which leaves his status at least somewhat up in the air ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
The veteran running back was not on Green Bay's Week 2 injury report, so this is a new issue for Jacobs. Here's what we can glean from Wednesday's injury report.

END OF UPDATE
Jacobs starts off the week as limited, but there is no reason to be concerned about his status right now because of the fact he at least got some semblance of work in.
Green Bay is also likely just being a little extra cautious given how much work their starting running back gets every week. Through two games, Jacobs has a whopping 43 touches (42 carries, one catch) and is playing 82% of the snaps.
Because of his experience, we wouldn't be concerned about Jacobs even if he only gets limited practices in during the week. Jacobs is the kind of player who can still suit up without a full session, something we've seen him do before.
As of right now, we fully expect Jacobs to play on Sunday, but we'll still be keeping an eye on the injury reports released on Thursday and Friday to be sure.
