The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are now in a weather delay in the second half of the Week 1 game in Philly.
The delay came in the third quarter with inclement weather rolling through. The threat of lightning has forced the NFL to hit the pause button as a safety measure for both players and fans.
This is the second time the Cowboys have been involved in a weather delay in the past two seasons. Their Week 5 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024 had a delayed start due to inclement weather. That game was delayed for about an hour and a half.
