The key word to the idea of NFL teams having unofficial depth charts is the fact that they're unofficial.
But they're also something, and on Tuesday, there was plenty of intrigue as the Cleveland Browns posted a new unofficial depth chart.
The key position of interest, of course, was quarterback.
And still listed as the No. 1 QB, for now, is Joe Flacco.
Dillon Gabriel remains QB2.
And then there's Shedeur Sanders as the third quarterback.
There has been a lot of speculation and suggestion that this might be the week that the Browns turn from the 40-year old Flacco to the third-round rookie Gabriel.

At the same time, it'd be a tough week to do that.
The Browns travel to play in London, and they'll take on the Minnesota Vikings and aggressive defensive coordinator Brian Flores.
Many have circled Oct. 19 as the ideal rookie first start game for the Browns. That's when they play the toothless Miami Dolphins defense.
At this point, it seems likely the Browns would reveal if they're making a quarterback change for this week by Wednesday.
And then they'll have a long flight to take to try and improve upon their 1-3 record so far this season.
