The Buffalo Bills have a new injury concern ahead of the Week 6 game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night, as tight end Dalton Kincaid was added to the team's injury report on Thursday.
Kincaid has appeared in all five games for the Bills this season and is coming off a contest in which he tallied 108 yards in the loss to the New England Patriots.
Kincaid is well on his way to posting a career-best season, so it goes without saying how crucial he is to Buffalo's offense, especially given the struggles at wide receiver.
Here's the latest on Kincaid.
Dalton Kincaid injury update
Buffalo's first injury report of the week revealed Kincaid is dealing with an oblique injury and was a limited participant in practice.
This is a new injury for Kincaid, who was not on Buffalo's injury report last week.
That said, the fact that Kincaid was still limited to start the week means there's no reason to be concerned about his status for Week 6. Also bear in mind, he has an extra day this week because of the Bills' Monday night contest.
If Kincaid does sit out, Dawson Knox would be next in line to start for Buffalo, and rookie Jackson Hawes would serve as the No. 2 tight end.
The Bills will release injury reports on Friday and Saturday, also, so we'll be on the lookout for those. However, as of right now, we fully expect Kincaid to play.
