Much has been made of Arch Manning's father and uncles, but they aren't the only athletes in the QB's family.
Ellen Heidingsfelder is Arch's mother and has a notable career and athletic background. She is known for her understated approach to fame, which contrasts with her husband Cooper's public presence and her son Arch's rising stardom.
Arch Manning is widely projected to be the top overall draft pick in 2026, should he choose to enter the draft, a topic that has garnered significant attention.

Who is Arch Manning's mom?
Ellen Heidingsfelder is a Louisiana native who earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University and her law degree from the University of Virginia. Aside from being the mother to one of college football's most elite athletes, she is an accomplished attorney, working in New Orleans.
Despite her connection to the famous Manning football dynasty, Ellen prefers privacy and rarely publicly shares details about her professional or personal life.
Like other members of the Manning family, Ellen has an athletic history. In 1986, she led the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans to its first volleyball state championship and was honored as a Hall of Famer at the school in 2015. She also competed in track and field, earning all-district honors in high jump.
She has been featured across social media when the Manning family attends Arch's games, but you won't find her on camera as much as Cooper.
Ellen married Cooper Manning in 1999, and together they have three children: May, Arch and Heid. Although Cooper is well known for his football career and media work, Ellen’s commitment to her legal career and her focus on family have made theirs a strong, private partnership over more than two decades. Cooper and others have credited her for passing on athletic talent and speed to Arch.
