Arch Manning hasn’t started a full season at Texas yet, but his name already sparks NFL speculation.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said Thursday he believes the Longhorns quarterback will eventually wear the Cowboys’ star on his helmet.

Could Arch Manning land in Dallas? NFL Legend Dez Bryant thinks so.

“Arch Manning will have a star on his helmet. Nobody can tell me different,” Bryant posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The nephew of NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning has been one of his generation's most closely watched recruits. With Texas entering year 2 in their transition into the SEC, Manning is expected to play a significant role in the coming seasons, though his professional future remains years away.

Bryant, who spent eight years with Dallas and remains a popular voice among Cowboys fans, has often been outspoken on social media about the team. His latest message quickly stirred debate about what the Cowboys will do at quarterback beyond Dak Prescott, who is entering a critical career stage.

It is unclear whether Bryant’s vision will come true, but for now, Manning is still focused on carving out his place in Austin before thoughts of the NFL take over.

Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns are traveling to Columbus, OH, for what analysts call the matchup of the year between the No. 1-ranked Longhorns and the No. 3-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. Kickoff is set for Saturday at 11 a.m. Central on FOX.
