Where is Jazz Chisholm from?
Jazz Chisholm hails from the Bahamas.
His grandmother was a shortstop for the Bahamian national softball team, and she taught Jazz how to hit when he was 2 years old.
Chisholm moved to Wichita, Kansas when he was 12 years old and attended Life Prep Academy.
After high school, Chisholm went back to the Bahamas to train at a sports academy.
He signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent in July 2015, was traded to the Miami Marlins in July 2019 and was traded to the Yankees in July 2024.
