Should I start Xavier Worthy in fantasy Week 7? Chiefs WR outlook vs. Raiders with Rashee Rice’s return image

All of a sudden, the Kansas City Chiefs look a lot like themselves again.

And the setup gets even better in Week 7, because the Chiefs get star wide receiver Rashee Rice back from his six-game suspension.

One player who that creates at least a bit of question about? Xavier Worthy.

With Rice out, Worthy slotted as WR1. Now, there's more competition.

Fantasy football managers may spend this weekend wondering what to do with Worthy. Thankfully, it's simple.

Should I start Xavier Worthy in fantasy Week 7?

Yes, start Worthy this week.

That'll be the directive most weeks, but it's particularly true with the Las Vegas Raiders on the other side in Week 7.

"Chiefs WRs Xavier Worthy and Rice are positioned for huge performances," writes ESPN's Eric Moody. "(Patrick) Mahomes is on fire, averaging 28.4 fantasy points over his past three games. The Raiders' defense has allowed the fourth-most receptions and fifth-most fantasy points per game to WRs this season."

Especially with bye weeks underway, it's safe to count on Worthy every week.

Should I start Rashee Rice in fantasy Week 7?

Yes, you should also start Rice, for the same reasoning spelled out by Moody above.

And at some point sooner than later, Rice should be the full-on WR1 for the Chiefs.

"He's going to want to be out there every single play," Mahomes said this week. "It's going to be our job, as teammates and coaches, to build him back the right way."

Even a 50-percent snap share for Rice in this matchup is starter-worthy.
