DENTON, Texas, Oct. 3 — The SN No. 22 Aledo [TX] Bearcats will visit the Ryan [Denton, TX] Raiders Friday night in a battle between two of the top teams in Texas. Aledo rallied in the second half for a 15-14 win.
Aledo was making its debut in The Sporting News High School Football Top 25. In addition to being ranked in the SN Top 25, Aledo is also ranked No. 16 in the Massey Ratings, and they are currently No. 28 overall in the SN Composite Rankings.
