The SN NEXT No. 1 McEachern Indians will visit the Harrison Hoyas Friday night in one of the weekend's top games in Georgia.

KENNESAW, Georgia, Oct. 3 — The SN NEXT No. 1 McEachern [Powder Springs, GA] Indians return to action Friday night at the Harrison [Kennesaw, GA] Hoyas. McEachern won the game, 48-21.

Both teams are 5-0 coming off a bye week, and McEachern enters its third week atop The NEXT 25 "bubble" rankings presented by The Sporting News. The game vs. Harrison is McEachern's best opportunity to date to make a statement that they are worthy of consideration for The Sporting News High School Football Top 25.

Harrison, meanwhile, will be playing spoiler and trying to make a statement of their own. The Hoyas have flown under the radar so far in 2025, but a win over McEachern would raise their profile dramatically in the Peach State.
