Yes, Jimmy Garoppolo is still playing football in the NFL.
And in fact, he's still in the NFC West.
He's now the Los Angeles Rams' backup quarterback to Matthew Stafford.

There was some thought early in the year that he'd get to start Week 1 as Stafford battled a nagging back injury in the preseason.
But Stafford made it back, and so far Jimmy G hasn't gotten into a game this year.
He is Stafford's direct backup, so it'd take just one painful moment for Garoppolo to be playing against his former team.
