This stat says the Jacksonville Jaguars are the best team in the NFL image

To win a football game, you have to score more points than the other team.

And for more moments than any other team this season, the Jacksonville Jaguars have had more points than the other team.

Here's the stat at the heart of that statement: The Jaguars have spent more snaps with a lead than any team in the NFL this season, according to Warren Sharp.

The Jaguars have taken 162 offensive snaps while holding a lead this season.

That's more than the Broncos (155), Packers, (149), Seahawks (135), Chargers (130), Falcons (129), Bills (127) and all the rest of the league.

The Jags have a 3-1 record to show for it, only have an odd loss to the Cincinnati Bengals after Joe Burrow was hurt. Jake Browning came on in relief and threw three interceptions for Cincy and the Jags still couldn't hold on, definitely a regrettable loss.

But for the most part, Jacksonville has been getting the job done.

This statistic, to be fair, doesn't display outright dominance. It doesn't account for whether a lead is one point or 28 points.

But the Jaguars have done what they can to put this season in the right direction right from the outset, and so far, so good.

It gets really fun really fast this week. The Jags play the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. If Jacksonville is for real, the whole football world will get to watch.
