With the Pittsburgh Steelers just days away from kicking off their 2025 campaign versus the New York Jets, the team released its first injury report of the week on Wednesday.
The Steelers had a total of two players not participating on Wednesday in defensive lineman Derrick Harmon and defensive back Cory Trice.
Of course, Harmon is dealing with a knee injury suffered in the final preseason game. At last check, head coach Mike Tomlin revealed that Harmon is week-to-week, but he has also already ruled the rookie out for Week 1.
Trice has been recovering from a hamstring injury for quite some time now but said on Aug. 23 that the goal is for him to be ready for Week 1. His lack of participation isn't a good sign for his chances of suiting up.
The Steelers had just one player listed as limited in outside linebacker Nick Herbig, who was injured in the team's second preseason game. Herbig is dealing with a hamstring issue.
"I would characterize Herbig as questionable," Tomlin told reporters Tuesday. "He had a really good day yesterday. We'll leave the door ajar for him and see where work leads us during the course of the week."
Now, a look at the full injury report for Pittsburgh from Wednesday.
