There are few, if any fanbases in the NFL that travel as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers' and we're about to see yet another example of that in Week 1.

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, who cites numbers from Vivid Seats, Steelers fans are projected to take up 48% of the seats at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

"The Vivid Seats fan forecast projects 48% of MetLife Stadium will be Steelers fans on Sunday against the Jets," Cimini wrote. "If accurate, wow."

Cimini must not be familiar with how Steelers fans roll.

There is no shortage of reasons for Steelers fans to be psyched about this game.

Not only is it the first contest of the 2025 campaign, but there is renewed optimism for the team now that Aaron Rodgers is at the helm of the offense. Rodgers did not play during the preseason, so this will be his Steelers debut.

Making the contest more interesting is the fact that Rodgers will also be squaring off against his old team, the Jets, and New York's quarterback, Justin Fields, will face his former team, also, after playing for the Steelers in 2024.

Despite being the road team, the Steelers are expected to win this game, at least based on the opinions of experts. In a round-up of picks and predictions we compiled, all eight analysts picked Pittsburgh.
