The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 after a road win over the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch. As every tilt with these two teams usually does, this game featured a controversial play.

The Eagles, as they do in every game, ran the tush push in a crucial moment late in the contest. The Eagles appeared to be lined up offsides and jumping early before the snap, but no flag was thrown. Offensive lineman Jordan Mailata was asked about this in an appearance on 94 WIP in Philadelphia, to which he gave a fired up answer.

"That pisses me off because we give so much to this game and to kind of base off a short-yardage play, that is a football play," Mailata said. "And say that we won the game off that, but not how our defense played and not how our special teams have played, putting us in those positions. You know I think it's bullcrap. I just think it's rubbish. Absolute rubbish, man. It makes my blood boil just thinking about it."

There has been conversations over the last two seasons if the play should be banned, but no rule has been put in place taking it away. The loudest conversations surrounding that came after the NFC Championship Game when Washington Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu jumped over the line of scrimmage multiple times to try and prevent a touchdown, which resulted in the officials saying that if Washington did such a thing again, they would award a touchdown to the Eagles.

Philadelphia will look to get to 3-0 when they take on the Los Angeles Rams in a rematch of the divisional round this past January.
