The Los Angeles Rams are 2-0 after a 33-19 win over the Tennessee Titans, and the Rams have come away with a relatively clean bill of health in the process. However, they did suffer one odd injury.
Head coach Sean McVay revealed that he suffered a foot injury during the team's win over the Titans, and that he tore his plantar fascia.
"Sean McVay says he tore his plantar fascia while coaching the Los Angeles Rams to victory over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday," Adam Schefter reports.
McVay himself says his foot feels good.
"Foot's good," McVay said. "I did tear my plantar fascia, so yeah. Well, that's a good thing, because I guess it allows you to heal a little faster. But I was being dramatic, limping around towards the end of the game, but the MRI confirmed I did that. Good news is I'm not playing. I'm just on the sidelines watching, so if I have a little cool limp to add some swag, then you'll know why."
The injury won't keep McVay off the sideline, but as he said, it could come with a noticeable limp. The Rams will look to get to 3-0 when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch from the NFC Divisional Round.
