The Jacksonville Jaguars traded up from No. 5 to No. 2 to select Colorado Buffaloes star and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
The Jaguars plan on using Hunter at wide receiver and cornerback, just like he played in college.
Early on, Hunter has been on offense more often during OTAs and practices. But Jaguars secondary coach Ron Milus wants him on defense more than he has been, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
"Hunter is not working on both sides of the ball on the same day and has been on the offensive side more often during this phase of the program, but head coach Liam Coen said he’s heard from secondary coach Ron Milus about the arrangement," wrote Alper.
"Coen said Milus came up to [him] after practice and said, ‘Can we have him more?’”
Well, Hunter sure raised eyebrows on the defensive side during Tuesday's OTA session.
Hunter was defending multiple Jaguars offensive players and made a highlight-reel interception on one play. To no surprise, Jaguars fans were excited.

In his final year in Boulder, Hunter had 96 receptions, 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns. On defense, he had 35 total tackles with four interceptions and a forced fumble, so there is no secret that he can play dividends on both sides.
Plays such as these show just how good he is in coverage, which might make Jacksonville decide to use him more on defense and sprinkle him in a little bit on offense, although it remains to be seen what the concrete plan with Hunter is.
