The Cleveland Browns are a long way from knowing who their Week 1 starting quarterback will be.
They've got four legitimate contenders seeing snaps during OTAs: Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
That might seem like a problem, but star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy sees it differently.
“I like it because that’s just making each quarterback get better, competing against each other, really drive them to be the best version of themselves,” Jeudy told reporters on Wednesday. “So, you always want that as a quarterback — or four quarterbacks.”
The way Jeudy pivots from "a quarterback" to "four quarterbacks" really does outline the absurdity of the situation.
It's crucial for Jeudy that the Browns get this right. Last season, he had 90 catches for 1,229 yards.

Jeudy proved that he can be one of the NFL's best receivers, even without perfect quarterback play. But the better QB that Cleveland puts out there, the better for Jeudy.
“It’s pretty difficult because you want to always build that relationship with a quarterback and have that consistency throughout the years,” Jeudy said. “But as a receiver going through that, you’ve just got to keep working and learn how to adjust no matter what. Some situations aren’t going to go as planned, so you’ve just got to figure out how to just keep going and stay on the right path.”
Jeudy also shared his thoughts on the rookies, Gabriel and Sanders.
“They’re working hard,” Jeudy said. “They’re competing very well — very smart, athletic quarterbacks that know the game of football, know how to play the position real well. Very smart. I’m excited. They’ve got a bright future ahead of them.”
