The New England Patriots no longer have any playing links to their Super Bowl era.
That was already true earlier this offseason when they released David Andrews in March.
And on Wednesday, the Pats announced that Andrews intends to retire with the Patriots.
Andrews, 32, made 121 career starts as New England's center.
He played from 2015 through 2024.
Andrews has the most starts of an undrafted free agent in Patriots history.
He was part of the famous comeback from down 28-3 to the Falcons, then helped the Pats beat the Rams in a Super Bowl snoozer, 13-3.

Andrews started 12 playoff games in his career.
Fittingly, Andrews got to serve as the bridge from Tom Brady, through a couple of bridge QBs, and now onto the new face of the franchise, Drake Maye.
New England added former Vikings center Garrett Bradbury this offseason, and he'll likely be the new guy snapping it to Maye.
In the meantime, Andrews can ride off into the sunset with a couple of shiny rings on his hand.
