Micah Parsons' name keeps being linked to the Green Bay Packers.

Is there any real chance of him being traded away from the Dallas Cowboys to an NFC rival? That's a lot less certain. But the connection definitely keeps getting made.

Bleacher Report's Moe Moton made it in a new article on Thursday, where he predicts that Parsons will be traded to Green Bay for a big haul.

Moton's proposed trade would look like this:

  • Cowboys receive: 2026 1st-round pick, 2026 6th-round pick, 2027 1st-round pick, 2027 3rd-round pick, EDGE Lukas Van Ness
  • Packers receive: EDGE Micah Parsons, 2026 5th-round pick

Parsons still doesn't have a contract extension with the Cowboys as he enters the final year of his deal. He's still got an active trade request, too.

Dallas opens the season in a week, on the opening Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

If something is going to happen, it seems like it has to happen soon.

"Dallas could fetch multiple premium picks and a young player in return for Parsons, who's in the prime of his career," Moton writes. "As a playoff contender trying to match the elite teams, the Packers should make a strong offer to the Cowboys. As one of the league's top edge-rushers, Parsons can elevate Green Bay's mediocre pass rush that ranked 16th in pressure rate (22.1 percent) last season."

It definitely seems like Dallas would probably prefer to send Parsons to an AFC team if he has to be traded.

Another historic brand like the Packers being the team that ends up with Parsons would be extra painful for Cowboys' fans.

At some point, Dallas will have to make a decision. And maybe, just maybe, the Packers will be waiting to pounce.
