The Cleveland Browns have been very busy since their loss in London to the Minnesota Vikings. They've made two massive trades over the last three days, sending quarterback Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals and cornerback Greg Newsome to the Jacksonville Jaguars. While many would think these types of transactions would slow down for a bit, Cleveland may not be done.
Tight end David Njoku is a name to monitor over the next several weeks. The former first-round pick is set to be a free agent in 2026, and the Browns have already seen that rookie Harold Fannin is the real deal, as the rookie already has 21 catches on the season.
Considering Njoku's ability as both a blocker and pass-catcher, there would certainly be suitors for him. The Philadelphia Eagles immediately come to mind. Dallas Goedert has been injury prone, and the Eagles don't have a reliable tight end when he is out of the lineup. The Kansas City Chiefs would also make sense, especially with Travis Kelce's long-term future up in the air, and he would make them much more dangerous in 12 personnel. The Los Angeles Chargers could also be a team to watch as an underneath weapon for Justin Herbert.
Teams will certainly call about Njoku, and it's almost a guarantee that the Browns will listen to those calls when they come.
