The Buffalo Bills are 4-1, but it's clear they have deficiencies on both sides of the ball. Their receivers can't separate, and their defense lacks any sort of star power off the edge and need help in the secondary.
With that in mind, there are multiple players that should be on the Bills' radar in terms of a trade, and these would be the best names they could bring in.
WR Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints
Shaheed and his speed would give the Bills the over-the-top element they've lacked out wide. He showed what he can do in Week 5 with an 88-yard touchdown against the New York Giants. Considering that Josh Palmer has done next to nothing since signing a $29 million deal, the Bills should look at Shaheed as a spark plug for their passing game.
WR Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
If the Bills wanted to take a swing at a more upper-tier receiver, Olave would be a good name to target. While his 2024 season was plagued with injuries, Olave began his career with consecutive 1,000 yard seasons. He would immediately become the No. 1 receiver in the offense.
WR Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders
Geno Smith threw two more interceptions as this piece was being written, and the Raiders may be the worst team in football. Meyers requested a trade ahead of the season, and would be another guy who could come in and immediately be the top perimeter receiver.
WR D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears
D.J. Moore has become somewhat of an afterthought in the Bears' offense, as Rome Odunze has emerged as the top target for Caleb Williams. Moore has consecutive seasons of 90+ catches.
CB Riq Woolen, Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are reportedly willing to listen to trade offers. If he is available, he fits the mold of cornerbacks Sean McDermott likes - long, lanky, good ball skills, and good against the run. It's a move they should at least inquire about.
