The Buffalo Bills continue to cut their roster down ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. The team made a cut on Tuesday that will surprise many.

Buffalo is releasing veteran cornerback Dane Jackson, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Jackson re-signed with the team this past offseason after a stint with the Carolina Panthers. The Bills doing this when their depth at cornerback is already thin due to injuries to Tre'Davious White and Max Hairston says a lot about how poor Jackson looked this preseason.

Buffalo will have options at the position, as many cuts will take place around the league. Perhaps they will bring in a released player from another organization or make a noteworthy trade of sorts to boost their secondary.
