It was an easy day of work for Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates. His task was to keep the Colorado Rockies offense down, and that's exactly what he did.

Skenes picks up career win No. 19

Skenes tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and no runs in the win. The youngster struck out seven batters and did not walk anyone. Pittsburgh went on to win the game 4-0 over Colorado.

The win moves him to 8-9 on the season. Skenes now has a season ERA of 2.07.

Pittsburgh got all the runs they needed in the fourth inning. Jared Triolo hit a three-run home run, and then Isiah Kiner-Falefa drove in a run to make it 4-0.
