Saquon Barkley knows how to make a statement.

The NFL's Offensive Player of the Year turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, when he showed up rocking an $82,000 watch on his wrist.

The Philadelphia Eagles runningback, 28, wore a Thome Browne suit and tie at the swanky annual event at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Barkley accessorized the look with an H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Vantablack, according to "TMZ Sports."

The pricey watch, which comes with an alligator leather strap,  features a striking black dial and HMC 805 calibre with a double hairspring and partially skeletonized bridge.

The watchmaker's president, Claudio Terjanian, told the outlet he was thrilled to see the NFL player wearing one of his items at the star-studded event.

"He's a gem of a human and the world's best RB," Terjanian said. "I will be happy to see him in the HOF one day, wearing his Moser."

Several fans praised Barkley's Met Gala look in the Instagram post he shared on Monday.

"That watch crazy," one person commented.

"bro got the swag and style," another person wrote.

"Good gracious," someone else said.

Lewis Hamilton, Angel Reese, and Jalen Hurts also turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala

Barkley wasn't the only professional athlete to turn heads at the 2025 Met Gala.

Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, 40, was also on fire in a cream-colored suit and matching beret.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his wife Bry Burrows also brought their A-game to the red carpet on Monday.

Hurts stood out in a sparkly black suit and coordinating black beret. He completed the look with a statement timepiece - a striking ice blue-dialed Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 - and his shiny new wedding band.

His wife, Burrows, was dressed in a classy maroon gown, featuring delicate embellishments, a thigh-high slit up the side, and long fringe accents.

Another Met Gala attendee who drew plenty of looks on the red carpet was LeBron James' wife, Savannah James, 38, who attended the event alone as the NBA star was recuperating from a knee injury.

Savannah rocked a stunning floor-length burgundy gown with a long train at the event. The dress featured a pinstripe jacket and mermaid-style skirt.

This year's Met Gala theme was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."

It was intended to display the role of Black dandyism throughout the diaspora.

Guests were encouraged to dress on theme at the event.
