Simone Biles and her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens, were among the many stars to make an appearance at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5. The event is a fundraising festival meant to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and each year, celebrities try to outdo one another in fun, creative, and unique ensembles as they hit the red carpet.
This year, Biles and Owen turned heads as they made their way into the event in standout ensembles. The 28-year-old Sportswoman of the Year dazzled in a bright blue minidress with a long train. The dress featured a striking white collar, a nod to the theme of the event, which was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
Meanwhile, Owens wore an all white suit complete with fringe cuffs and a fur shawl. He also wore a bright blue Margot McKinney Atlantic pendant on his lapel, perfectly matching Biles’ dress.
A photo of the pair’s ensemble was shared on the NFL's Instagram page.
“Definition of power couple,” said one fan.
"They look so good 🔥🔥🔥🔥," wrote another.
"Wishing them the best and I’m so happy for them," a third fan wrote.
The past few days have been busy with fittings and fashion for Biles, who also made an appearance at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. She looked stunning in a lavender dress by Charah and full glam makeup.
