The New York Jets' sorry start to the 2025 NFL season continued on Sunday (October 12) as the team suffered a sixth consecutive defeat.

Aaron Glenn's men fell 13-11 to the Denver Broncos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London to remain winless this season.

While the Jets were already low on confidence ahead of their overseas trip, the Broncos would have been feeling the opposite as they had just gone above .500, after ending the Philadelphia Eagles' unbeaten start to the season in Week 5.

Sunday's contest in the English capital was a defensive battle, as Bo Nix's 16-yard touchdown pass to Nate Adkins which put the Broncos 10-6 up in the opening quarter proved to be the only time that either team would find the endzone.

After a go-ahead field goal by Wil Lutz from short-range gave Sean Payton's team the lead with around five minutes remaining, the Jets had the chance to go up the field and get close to picking up a first victory in Glenn's tenure as head coach.

However, quarterback Justin Fields was sacked on a fourth-and-eight from the Broncos 44, after Glenn opted to not settle for a long-range field goal attempt which would have given the AFC East outfit a one-point lead.

Glenn made the call despite kicker Nick Folk having made three successful field goal attempts prior in the game.

The Jets had a horrendous day on offence, as Fields was sacked nine times altogether and threw for just 45 yards on nine completed passes.

Negative yards on plays meant the Jets finished with a franchise-low -10 net yards on offence, and just 82 total yards overall.

The team's passing display is the worst for nearly three decades in the NFL, with the San Diego Chargers having recorded -19 net yards against the Kansas City Chiefs back in 1998.

The 32 total net yards that Glenn's team registered in the first two quarters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the fewest for any team in the opening half of a NFL game this season.

The Jets' next opportunity to land a first win under Glenn will come in Week 7 against the 3-3 Carolina Panthers at home.
