Chiefs 'looking forward' to having Big 3 finally on the field image

The Kansas City Chiefs' offense has yet to be fully healthy over the past 18 months, but now that receiver Rashee Rice's suspension is over, No. 4 will join Patrick Mahomes' offense.

But that's not all.

With Marquise Brown being signed last offseason, he, along with Xavier Worthy and Rice, haven't all been on the field at the same time with real NFL bullets flying. That might change Sunday.

And you can bet that head coach Andy Reid is looking forward to it.

“I think they'll be a positive thing,” Reid said. “They haven't been on the field together other than training camp, so I think they're looking forward to it, maybe even more than I'm looking forward to it. They're excited to play together. All three are very close, so we'll see how it all works out. I don't have a lot of promises, but it'll be great to get him [Rice] back going.”

Will Rashee Rice return in Week 7?

Rashee will likely go through a ramp-up phase this week at practice because he hasn't been in this type of environment for a while, and even if he does get the nod to suit up on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, I'd imagine he would be on a snap count.

Of course, there might be a world where he slots straight into the Chiefs' offense and begins to tear up the league again, but Kansas City might play the slow game with its star weapon.

Either way, the big three of Worthy, Brown, and Rice are finally going to be on the field at the same time, and you can bet Chiefs Kingdom has waited long enough to see it.

Will that be Sunday? We don't have to wait long to find out.
