Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a significant show of backing from majority owners, the Lewis family trust.
Through the family's investment company, ENIC, a sum of £100m has been injected into the Premier League club.
The transfer of this fresh capital is part of the club's recent commitment to improving Spurs' trajectory on a sporting level.
An official statement from the club on Thursday morning (October 9) read: "This equity injection will further strengthen the club’s financial position and equip the club’s leadership team with additional resources to continue the focus on driving long-term sporting success."
"This additional capital is part of the Lewis family’s ongoing commitment to the club and its future."
Peter Charrington, who stepped into the newly created position of non-executive chairman as part of the board reshuffle after previously operating as a non-executive director, has assured Spurs fans that this latest cash injection will benefit the club moving forward.

This new-found devotion to sporting success was first touted when the club announced a major reshuffle at board level last month.
This saw Daniel Levy shockingly step down from his role as the club's executive chairman after a quarter century working for Spurs.
Spurs have been recognised for it success off the pitch in recent times, as the club ranked ninth on Forbes' 2025 list of the world's most valuable football clubs, with a $3.3b valuation and $666m revenue showing.
However, recent decision-making suggests the club is intent on delivering consistently on the pitch and elevating Spurs' brand as a result of sporting measures.
The Europa League triumph last season was a first major trophy for the club in nearly two decades, and represents the type of success that Spurs desire more regularly in the future.
