Thomas Tuchel has spoken on the issues his England side have faced in front of goal recently amid criticism from fans and the media.
The Three Lions overcame Andorra in World Cup qualifying with a 2-0 win at Villa Park on Saturday (September 6).
While the result was important and got England a step closer to securing qualification for next summer's major tournament, the performance was far from inspiring against a side that are currently ranked no. 174 in the world.
The lack of excitement and abundance of goals in the qualifier even led to spectators leaving before the final whistle.
So far under the German, England appear to be struggling with breaking down opposition teams that set up against them in a low block.
Just eight goals have been scored by the Euro 2024 finalists in competitive matches under Tuchel, with fixtures having come against Albania, Latvia and Andorra.

What Tuchel had to say about England's offensive struggles

Tuchel was asked whether England find it challenging to break teams down ahead of facing Serbia in a World Cup qualifier in Belgrade on Tuesday night (September 9).
"We’re getting better," the England boss said in his pre-match press conference."We did not struggle so much (against Andorra), but it’s difficult to break a low block down in a 5-4-1."
"We have progress, I’m happy with the work in the camp and the attitude of the players. I think we’re getting there. I say it because I am absolutely convinced," the 52-year-old added.
"I see what I see, I feel what I feel. I think we will get better. We are very clear in how we play and how we want to break it down."
A convincing performance away in Serbia would ease the concerns fans and the media currently reserve for the England team, and cause there to be more optimism ahead of next summer's World Cup.
