Thomas Tuchel announced his 24-man England squad on Friday (August 29) for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Three Lions host Andorra and travel to Serbia next month, as they look to secure a spot at next summer's major tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Tuchel has made some notable selection decisions for the latest squad, with Elliot Anderson and Djed Spence receiving first-time call-ups, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is a big absentee.
Another prominent name to miss out on a place in the squad is Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
The 20-year-old is currently in the headlines as he wants a temporary move away from Old Trafford due to not being highly favoured by United boss Ruben Amorim.
Mainoo is regarded as one of England's brightest talents, as he showed what he is capable of in a Three Lions shirt when Gareth Southgate selected him from the start in all of the team's knockout matches at Euro 2024.

Why Tuchel did not call-up Mainoo
When asked during his press conference for the squad announcement why Mainoo was snubbed of a place, Tuchel referred to the player's current situation at United.
"Sometimes you can feel the pressure and changes in the club are not in your favour. He's lacking minutes," said the England boss.
Mainoo has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season despite The Red Devils requiring goals late on against both Arsenal and Fulham.
According to Tuchel, game time is the only issue that has prevented Mainoo from receiving a call-up to the Three Lions.
"I don't think he lacks anything else. He has the experience, the power, the quality, the talent to be on our list, but in his position we have players in full rhythm and play key parts in their clubs."
The England manager is aware of what Mainoo can do for the national team, based on the player's 10 caps for the side.
"He played with fearlessness, with excitement the youth sometimes brings," the 52-year-old stated.
Mainoo will be hoping to get the required minutes at club level over the coming weeks and force his way into the Three Lions's squad for the friendly with Wales and World Cup qualifier against Latvia in October.
